Job Overview

Create refined cocktails and beverages, engage guests with polished hospitality, and maintain exceptional quality, consistency, and bar presentation in line with hotel standard.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist with pre‑opening bar and lounge setup, including equipment preparation, glassware organization, inventory arrangement, and operational readiness.
  2. Participate in pre‑opening training, menu familiarization, mock services, and soft openings to ensure service quality and brand standards are met prior to launch.
  3. Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, and non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with established luxury service standards.
  4. Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized guest service aligned with hotel and brand service expectations.
  5. Maintain strong product knowledge of beverages, recipes, ingredients, and current promotions.
  6. Ensure beverage quality, presentation, and consistency at all times.
  7. Support stock control, inventory handling, and requisitioning in accordance with operational requirements.
  8. Contribute to upselling initiatives and support outlet revenue performance through product recommendations.
  9. Operate POS systems accurately, process guest orders, and handle payments responsibly.
  10. Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations in compliance with hotel and statutory requirements.
  11. Maintain impeccable personal grooming, professional conduct, and bar presentation standards.
  12. Ensure bar cleanliness, organization, hygiene, and safe working conditions throughout service.
  13. Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by the superior(s).

Requirements

  1. Certificate or diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Mixology preferred.
  2. Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in a luxury hotel bar and lounge environment.
  3. Proven experience in a Bartender role with hands‑on cocktail preparation.
  4. Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and standard bar techniques.
  5. Strong leadership, organizational, problem‑solving, training, and team‑motivating capabilities.
  6. Solid understanding of inventory control, cost awareness, and operational efficiency.
  7. Excellent time management skills with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  8. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  9. Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
