Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cleanliness orderliness of the assigned guestrooms, work area and resources according to the standard set by the hotel.
  • Check and replenish the guest room’s amenities and linen.
  • Responsible for releasing “Checked-out rooms” to “Inspected vacant clean room” after cleaning
  • To provide friendly, prompt and efficient service and ensuring the request are acted upon immediately and tactfully.
  • Report to supervisor any missing or damaged of linen, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
  • Forward all Lost & Found items to the Housekeeping office.
  • To collect and deliver guest laundry
  • Immediately report any maintenance defect or hotel emergency to superior.
  • Well keeping the floor master key during working hours and return to Housekeeping office at the end of shift.
  • Conduct all maintain and general cleaning assigned by superior.
  • Replenish and tidy up the maid trolley during on duty.
  • Complete the Room Attendant work sheet and submit to Housekeeping office at the end of shift.
  • To maintain and clean up all operating equipment.
  • To stand by in the hotel in case of emergency. (e.g. Typhoon.)
  • To perform shift duty when needed.
  • To perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • To complete other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.
  • Conduct room assignment and prepare AM Room Attendant worksheet while on duty overnight shift.

Responsibilities (Con't)

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience in Hospitality or related duties is preferred.
  • Certificate holder in Hotel Room Attendant training or Hotel Management is preferred.
  • Good command of spoken Chinese, fair English and Putonghua.
