Job Overview

To source, secure and maximize revenue opportunities from dedicated account portfolio and leverage all sales tools and programs for maximum conversion. The Commercial Sales will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained. SHE/HE is responsible for the business activities, driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients for Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West as well as helping promote all Nina Hotel Group Properties.

Responsibilities

  • Support Commercial Director in the development of yearly business plan for the hotel in related segments.
  • Drive business leads for the hotel in all revenue generating stream, maximizing revenue opportunities, and exceeding the set targets.
  • Build and strengthen business relationships with existing and new customers to expand business share.
  • Handle all daily matters relating to corporate accounts sales operation.
  • Compile weekly call plan and entertainment schedule for potential clients.
  • Conduct daily sales calls and arrange hotel inspection for clients.
  • Facilitate account manager to solicit RFP & MICE business from clients.
  • Maintain and update corporate account database periodically.
  • Prepare group room control plan prior to group arrival, and brief respective departments if necessary.
  • Develop strong relationships with the operation team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
  • Analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on latest trends and developments.

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Hotel or Sales & Marketing Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experiences in hotel industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in hotel sales
  • Excellent command of spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Excellent command of written English and Chinese
  • Familiar with PMS is an advantage.
