Job Overview
The Risk & Safety Manager need to overseeing all aspects of the Risk & Safety Department, in charge of developing security measures and assuring the overall security of all members of the Hotel.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day security operations performed by the internal risk and safety team responding to incidents, emergencies, investigations and reporting.
- Identifying, evaluating, mitigating and review physical security risks against known or perceived threats.
- Conduct Security Risk Assessments and develop Security Plans to ensure execution of outlined mitigation measures.
- Investigate into safety and security related incidents, including but not limited to near misses, loss prevention issues, or other precinct issues.
- Supervise operation of all in-house security systems, key systems, asset tracking, security camera, storage & monitoring systems and access control etc.
- Draft, implement and review safety and security policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Prepare and support annual planning activities such as emergency drills, safety reviews, budgeting and capital recommendations related to security operations.
- Confer with representatives of local government to ensure cooperation and coordination of hotel activities with law enforcement and fire department.
- Communicate Guidelines to employees, report on health and safety issues, and develop relevant policies to maintain a safe workplace. Promoting Occupational health and safety and minimizing risks for employees.
- Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements
- Form 5 graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in criminology is preferred.
- Holder of a valid Security Personnel Permit.
- Holder of a valid first aid certificate and fire fighting certificate is an advantage.
- 5 years of security experience in hotel and/or commercial or residential property.
- 3 years of security supervisor experience.
