Risk and Safety Manager

Job Overview

The Risk & Safety Manager need to overseeing all aspects of the Risk & Safety Department, in charge of developing security measures and assuring the overall security of all members of the Hotel.

Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day security operations performed by the internal risk and safety team responding to incidents, emergencies, investigations and reporting.
2. Identifying, evaluating, mitigating and review physical security risks against known or perceived threats.
3. Conduct Security Risk Assessments and develop Security Plans to ensure execution of outlined mitigation measures.
4. ​​​​​​​Investigate into safety and security related incidents, including but not limited to near misses, loss prevention issues, or other precinct issues.
5. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Supervise operation of all in-house security systems, key systems, asset tracking, security camera, storage & monitoring systems and access control etc.
6. ​​​​​​​Draft, implement and review safety and security policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
7. ​​​​​​​Prepare and support annual planning activities such as emergency drills, safety reviews, budgeting and capital recommendations related to security operations.
8. ​​​​​​​Confer with representatives of local government to ensure cooperation and coordination of hotel activities with law enforcement and fire department.
9. ​​​​​​​Communicate Guidelines to employees, report on health and safety issues, and develop relevant policies to maintain a safe workplace. Promoting Occupational health and safety and minimizing risks for employees.
10. ​​​​​​​Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

1. Form 5 graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in criminology is preferred.
2. Holder of a valid Security Personnel Permit.
3. Holder of a valid first aid certificate and fire fighting certificate is an advantage.
4. 5 years of security experience in hotel and/or commercial or residential property.
5. 3 years of security supervisor experience.
