Job Overview

Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and services, and leading a team of service staff effectively. 

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for managing every aspect of daily operations, from hiring and training service staff, developing marketing strategies to engaging with guests. 
  2. Oversee operations including ordering, inventory control, menu planning with Executive Chef, buffet set up presentation and service quality assurance.  
  3. Constantly stay up to date on the latest trends in the industry.  
  4. Keep up with the latest technologies, equipment and recipes and ensure that the restaurant runs efficiently and meets guests’ expectations.  
  5. Evaluate periodically the current menu, pricing and guest services, which help identify potential areas for improvement and ensure that guests remain satisfied. 
  6. Lead by examples and manage, coach and train service staff. 
  7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and create a safe and welcoming environment for guests.    
  8. Responsible for financial tasks such as budgeting, cost control and revenue reporting.  
  9. Implement marketing strategies, introduce new menu items and drive guest engagement.  
  10. Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty. 

Requirements

  1. Degree/Higher Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines 
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills  
  3. Strong work ethic and the ability to be multi-tasked in a fast-paced environment 
  4. Highly motivated and self-directed with strong integrity 
  5. Effective leadership in fostering a positive team culture and delivering an exceptional experience to every guest 
  6. Experienced in working within a compliance or standards driven environment 
  7. Attentive to market trend in food and beverage, innovative and business-minded 
  8. Experienced in budget management and reporting 
  9. Proficiency in PC knowledge and language abilities, both verbal and written
