Duty Engineer

Job Overview

The position is accountable for the proper maintenance of physical plant, engineering facilities, and the interior and exterior of the entire hotel. The position is also responsible of the daily operation of the department, scheduling subordinates in carrying out routine maintenance and overhaul of hotel facilities, mechanical plants, equipment and installations etc.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and lead the team to provide support for daily repair and maintenance works.
2. Oversee facilities and maintain engineering equipment in normal working order.
3. Provide emergency support for all facilities and engineering equipment.
4. Attend to guest requests and complaints promptly and efficiently.
5. Perform emergency duties as per outlined under emergency procedure.
6. Well communicate and liaise closely with other departments/ engineering consultants/ contractors to facilitate engineering works in all aspects.

Requirements

1. Higher Diploma/ Diploma/ Certificate in Building Services/ Mechanical/ Electrical.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in engineering, with at least 2 years supervisory level experience.
3. Holder of Registered Electrical Workers (Grade A or above).
4. Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
5. Shift duties are required.
