JOB SCOPE
The incumbent will assist Director of Engineering in planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily operation of the department, energy management, dealing with contractors regarding quotations, contracts for repair & maintenance, A&A work, renovation works and arrangement for all M&E and building repair works. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the followings:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist Director of Engineering in preparing budget for major overhauling and installation of machinery, repair, and maintenance of physical plant; and controlling of all departmental expenses, in compliance with the hotel policies and procedures.

• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of operation equipment’s, such as calorifiers, chillers, pumps, ventilating systems, compressors, air-conditioners, refrigerators and other cooling or heating systems etc.
• Analyze and monitor the consumption of the gas, power, and water for hotel utilities and recommend measures to save energy.
• Maintain a complete file of drawings specifications and equipment manuals for all equipment contained within the hotel premises.
• Go through the Engineering Logbook daily and take the necessary action as required.
Assist Director of Engineering in making recommendation to General Manager / Group Director of Engineering regarding the replacement of inefficient or obsolete equipment.
• Coordinate with all departments to attend fire drill exercise.
• Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5-8 years of management experience in Hotel Engineering with sizable hotels with multiple outlets and large function spaces, preferably in Hotel, Facility Management or Property Management field.
• Degree or Higher Diploma in Building services, Mechanical, Electrical or related disciplines.
• Strong leadership, self-driven, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and experience in pre-opening projects is an advantage.
• Proficiency in PC knowledge including project management software, MS Office applications & Chinese word.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM.
• Holder of Registration of Electrical Worker license in Grade B or above is preferred.
• Familiar with local legislative licensing regulations and requirements.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English & Chinese.
• Preferably with experience in CAPEX or A&A projects and hands-on in managing various projects.
• Hands-on experience in Building Management System, testing and commissioning on E&M system.
• Project consultant experience will be an advantage.
