Job Overview

Responsibilities

  1. Assisting the Chief Steward and replacing the Chief Steward in case of absence.
  2. Coordinating and overseeing all activities within the Stewarding department.
  3. Training and motivating team members within the Stewarding department.
  4. Assigning tasks and giving instructions.
  5. Supervise the progression and quality of all activities within the Stewarding department.
  6. Working according to hotel regulations with regards to health, safety and hygiene.
  7. Reporting all situations which are considered to be a health or safety hazard.
  8. Updating cleaning procedures for cleaning processes.
  9. Develop training manuals for the effective and efficient operation.
  10. Conducting performance evaluations for Stewarding employees, in conjunction with the Chief Steward.
  11. Attending weekly F&B meetings.
  12. Handle administrative work and update files.
  13. Regularly organize stock take and keep efficient stock.
  14. Maintenance of health, safety and hygiene in all F&B areas.
  15. Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

  1. Higher Diploma or above in Hotel Management or related disciplines
  2. Minimum 3-year relevant working experience in hotel industry
  3. Mature, independent, self-motivated, well organized and detail-minded
  4. Excellent in spoken and written English and Chinese
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  6. Good motivating skills
  7. Service minded A flexible work attitude 
  8. Prepared to work flexible hours
  9. Excellent communication skills
