Job Overview

Maintaining the accounts in a proper manner, prepare forecasts, financial analysis and reports. Conduct and supervise monthly closing of the books and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  1. Cost Management:

    • Conduct daily reconciliation on receiving reports and F&B purchase invoice.

    • Lead and enforce the cost control initiatives in the operations.

  2. Month End Inventory Control:

    • Attending physical count of inventory store and operating equipment and follow up with stock report with concern department.

    • Assist in month-end closing, including preparation of journal entries.

    • Attending month-end food & beverage stock-take.

  3. Menu & Pricing Strategies:

    • Prepare and review the recipe cost in menu items.

    • Maintain food & beverage costs within budget and optimize profit.

  4. Financial Reporting:

    • ​​​​​​Prepare regular reports (including weekly flash report monthly costing report).

  5. Storage Management:

    • Manage the receiving and store functions of the operations.

    • Verify on disposal items of various department for safeguard hotel’s assets.

    • Assist receiving daily operation if necessary.

    • Monitor daily purchase orders and maintain accurate records for stock issuance, ensuring all distributions are authorized.

  6. Procurement System Enhancement:​​​​​​​

    • Work closely with Central Procurement and assist CheckSCM system enhancement.

  7. Internal Controls and Compliance:

    • ​​​​​​​Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard hotel assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

    • Conduct periodic reviews of processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  8. Staff Training:

    • ​​​​​​​Support the training and development of team members, sharing knowledge on cost control and storage management.

Requirements

  1. Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting is preferred.

  2. Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Food & Beverage Cost Control.

  3. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good analytical skills.

  4. Proficiency in MS Office application, CheckSCM System, and accounting system.
