Job Overview
Create refined cocktails and beverages, engage guests with polished hospitality, and maintain exceptional quality, consistency, and bar presentation in line with hotel standard.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pre‑opening bar and lounge setup, including equipment preparation, glassware organization, inventory arrangement, and operational readiness.
- Participate in pre‑opening training, menu familiarization, mock services, and soft openings to ensure service quality and brand standards are met prior to launch.
- Deliver courteous, professional, and attentive service to all guests throughout their visit.
- Maintain high‑end hospitality service etiquette and professional presentation in line with hotel standards.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge of food, beverage, and wine offerings to effectively answer guest inquiries and make recommendations.
- Accurately take guest orders, input transactions into the POS system, and ensure correct billing.
- Ensure timely, consistent, and high‑quality service delivery during all service periods.
- Set up, maintain, and reset bar and lounge areas to meet service and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with hotel and statutory requirements.
- Anticipate guest needs and personalize service whenever possible to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate service issues appropriately when required.
- Support team members and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Certificate or diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage preferred.
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel bar and lounge environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and wine service standards.
- Professional grooming standards with a clear understanding of high‑end hospitality service etiquette.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and order‑taking procedures.
- Strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and service standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem‑solving, training, and team‑motivating capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver refined guest service in a luxury setting.
- Excellent time management skills with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
