Job Overview

To perform Nina Hospitality’s Central Procurement and Sourcing activities across NH hotels.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill the procurement requirements of the Central Procurement and Sourcing Department guidelines and ensure all are met in a timely, cost-effective manner and adhere to the quality standards and policies of Nina Hospitality.
  • Responsible for the procurement process and activity covering all product categories in Food & Beverage, Operating Supplies & Equipment, FF&E, and Service Contracts.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders.
  • Develop RFP, RFQ, tendering for specific source projects.
  • Carry out price comparison & analysis.
  • Conduct quotation and material costing comparison.
  • Conduct effective price negotiation with suppliers.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities constantly, negotiate with potential suppliers to establish group contracts.
  • Focus on Quality, Service Delivery, and Competitive Price from the supply market.
  • Analysis of material costs and development of appropriate strategies in support of the hotel operations.
  • Always maintain professional and ethical relationships and effective communications with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Source and perform supplier prequalification and evaluation by conducting interviews, factory inspection visits, and reference checks.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluation regularly.
  • Develop and maintain a database of relevant suppliers in the region.
  • Any other duties or projects as assigned by the superior(s).

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in high volume purchasing (hotel experience would be seen as an advantage).
  • Diploma or certificate holder in Procurement, Hotel Management or related disciplines.
  • Experience in Group/centralized procurement is an advantage.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese is a must.
  • Systems / PC skills (knowledge in CheckSCM procurement system as an advantage).
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven RFP and RFQ for information analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
