Job Overview
Assist the Director of Risk and Safety in overseeing all aspects of the Risk and Safety Department, in charge of developing security measures and assuring the overall security of all members of the Hotel.
Responsibilities

Establish and supervise through subordinates, operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention and firefighting, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting, and monitoring personnel involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.

Mainly overseeing the security operation within the hotel premises.

Arrange appropriate workforce to assist GEM on daily operations to ensure it is running smoothly.

Ensure a good relationship is maintained during complaints handling between departments.

Always supervise and keep constantly aware of the standard of performances and appearance of subordinates.

Provide guideline and training to the subordinates to ensure they follow work order/instructions as and when necessary, on duty.

Ensure the tele-protection is maintained to report at a regular interval.

Responsible for the surveillance of all posts in the hotel premises and maintaining post assignment schedule and duty roster on a regular basis.

Keep constant supervision/surveillance on performance of subordinates and set a good example for subordinates to maintain a full extent of interest to the company and hotel management.

Maintain up to date records of all Risk and Safety employees qualified in First Aid and Fire Fighting Procedures.

Conduct periodic spot checks to ensure the Risk and Safety Shift In-charge are deploying Officers in critical areas.

Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements
-
5 years relevant experience in hotel and/or commercial/residential property, with 3 years experience in supervisory role.

Form 5 graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in criminology is preferred.

Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit and QAS certificate.

Holder of valid First Aid Certificate issued by Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Association or other recognized authority.

Able to work shift duties including overnight shift.
