工作簡介

To receive all merchandise for the Central Kitchen ensuring that all goods coming into the Central Kitchen have been properly ordered, accounted for and are in acceptable condition before distribution to the various departments.

工作職責

  • Check all incoming goods in accordance with the Central Kitchen established policies and procedures.
  • Counting, sorting, and weighing all inbound goods and authenticating the receipt of the same in accord with the delivery note.
  • Ensures that merchandise received by the Central Kitchen is supported by proper documentation such as purchase order, market list, etc.
  • Inspects the received goods, making note of any damages and discrepancies, and immediately reporting the same.
  • Stamps all delivery slips from the vendors as inspected. 
  • Checks that all returns such as beverage containers are properly accounted for.
  • Verifies that the goods are delivered to the designated sections and the receipt is confirmed by the signature of the person-in-charge in that section.

  • Works closely with kitchen personnel, and department heads to ensure the proper receiving and issuance of merchandise received.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
  • Assist in handling e-shop delivery orders and collaborate with the logistics team for delivery arrangements.
  • Any other duties or projects as assigned by the superior(s).

工作要求

  • Form 5 HKCEE (or equivalent) education.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Related work experience.
  • Knowledge of the local food and beverage market is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of food, beverage and general items.
  • Mature, independent, proactive, service-oriented and attentive to detail.
  • Outspoken and outgoing personality with a passion for service excellence.
  • A team player who can work with various departments at different levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
