Job Overview

To lead the restaurant’s daily operations and team, ensuring efficient service, exceptional guest experiences, and achievement of revenue, cost, and operational targets. The role also oversees semi-buffet standards, seasonal promotions, private functions, and hotel events in close collaboration with culinary and other operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations, including reservations, seating, guest flow, manpower planning, scheduling, and labour deployment, to maximise service efficiency and capacity utilisation.
• Lead and develop the restaurant team through effective recruitment, coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Drive revenue growth, control food and beverage, payroll, inventory, and other operating costs, and achieve all applicable Food & Beverage KPIs and financial targets.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, build strong guest relationships, and professionally manage feedback, service recovery, loyalty, and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the semi-buffet operation, maintaining presentation, replenishment, food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, food and workplace safety, guest flow, and the overall dining experience.
• Plan and deliver seasonal promotions, themed dining programmes, private and corporate functions, festive celebrations, catering services, and hotel events in collaboration with culinary, sales, marketing, event, and operational teams.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Hospitality, Hotel or Catering Management, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant Food & Beverage management experience, preferably in hotels or upscale restaurants.
• Proven experience in restaurant operations and people leadership, with strong coaching and team management capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, cost control, labour management, and guest service; experience in buffet, all-day dining, or high-volume restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and restaurant operating systems.
