Job Overview
Responsibilities
- To assist in overseeing the efficient operation of the hotel property and all its equipment, and maintenance and repair services and protection of the Owner’s asset.
- To assist the effective management of the engineering department by setting maintenance budgets, capital works programs and engineering plans.
- To ensure that performance are regularly monitored and reviewed.
- Contribute to the hotel’s profitability by ensuring the effective management of the buildings environmental controls and energy conservation systems.
- Contribute to the guest satisfaction standards by ensuring the technical services quickly address and where possible, anticipate, individual needs.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of guests and that any requests for service are handled in courteous and efficient fashion.
- Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years solid and relevant working experience on the position, preferably in Luxury hotel operations or maintenance experience in similar building service systems.
- Holder of construction Industry Safety Training Certificate and Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade B or above).
- Good interpersonal skills; pleasant with strong sense of responsibility; Good problem solving, reasoning, organizational and interpersonal skills; High self-motivation; Strong leadership skills and able to motivate team to achieve department goal.
- Good writing skills in English and Chinese.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
