Job Overview

Ensure the building maintenance team implements the Group (international) standard and compliance with local statutory requirements and supports maintenance teams on critical equipment maintenance and upkeep.

Responsibilities

  1. Advise the maintenance team to resolve emergency fault and perform corrective and preventive maintenance works of Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) Systems, as well as building fixtures;
  2. Technical support for design and supervise addition and alteration works;
  3. Prepare technical requirements, perform tendering and manage projects and contracts;
  4. Support maintenance teams in developing Standard Operating Procedures for the engineering deliverables of all buildings and sites;
  5. Ensure compliance with all procedures and controls used for working within critical environments;
  6. Provide technical training, quality control, advice and guidance for Engineering – Building Management;
  7. Act as subject matter expert in critical environment and general building services engineering and provide advice and support to all buildings and sites;
  8. Ensure all staff and vendors employed in critical facilities are properly trained and accredited. Ensure strict adherence to all working policies and procedures;
  9. Ensure completion of, and compliance with, the Engineering Assurance review process;
  10. Act as the point of escalation for critical failures to assist site maintenance teams to make safe, identify, analyse, rectify and report on improvements.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Bachelor in Engineering or Building Services or related disciplines;
  2. At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, preferably with 4-5 stars hotels in Hong Kong;
  3. A Corporate Member of HKIE, Engineering Council, BSOMES or equivalent will be an advantage;
  4. Self-motivated, a team-player, mature and possess a can-do attitude;
