Job Overview
Be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Les Lounge to achieve results to Hotel standard. Work closely with the Front Desk, Housekeeping, F & B and Stewarding to ensure that services are provided to the satisfaction of the guests.
Responsibilities
- Performs one-stop service to our hotel guests in an efficient way.
- Provides efficient and effective guest services to guests at all areas with the majority of time serving at the LIS Lounge.
- Maintains the tidiness of the LIS Lounge
- Coordinates and works closely with all departments in order to meet the needs of all guests who are staying in our Hotel in terms of accommodation, dining quality and sufficiency of operating equipment.
- Maintains a close rapport relationship between guests and the hotel through daily face to face contacts.
- Be fully conversant with the hotel facilities and knowledgeable to provide accurate information within hotel premise as well as the surrounding area near hotel.
- Promotes the hotel and cross-sells the corporate account to walk-in, travel agent guests and provide room show whenever necessary.
- Be responsible for all VIPs (VP), long staying guests (LS) and repeated guests (RG) of the Hotel.
- Assist in the Front Desk operation during the peak period and maintain the efficient and professional service has been delivered.
- Assists the Guest Services Manager in case of emergency.
- Obtains constructive and valuable comments/suggestions from guests through social/daily conversation, and to avoid political and religious topics.
- Has a full understanding of the location and duration of the special events at the hotel premises so as to escort special event guests to venues whenever necessary.
- Handles guest’s complaints in the absence of Guest Services Manager and seek assistance when required from concerned departments or Guest Services Manager promptly & professionally.
- Assists in handling emergency situations whenever required.
- Writes log sheet as daily record accurately and hand over.
- Compiles monthly highlights report to Guest Services Manager.
- Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements
- Hotel management education up to Higher Diploma or above;
- Two years hotel operations experience, preferably in Front Desk or Guest Services area;
- International chain experience preferably;
- Fluent spoken English, Cantonese and preferably Putonghua;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Has good emergency sense;
- Able to demonstrate with patience;
