This position is responsible for managing and directing sourcing and procurement activities of the hotel.
工作職責
- To be in charge of hotel Purchasing Department and liaise with Group Procurement Department.
- To ensure efficient and appropriate purchase in compliance with company’s procurement policies and procedures.
- To review requisition by liaising with other departments in developing procurement specifications.
- To obtain and negotiate product quotations from vendors on price, ability to produce product or service and delivery date to achieve cost saving target with favorable terms and conditions.
- To estimate product values according to knowledge of market price.
- To evaluate price comparison.
- To select purchase items by testing, observing or examining.
- To monitor and evaluate performance of suppliers (e.g. goods, services and materials are purchased at the best price, giving consideration to the quality of timeliness and deliveries)
- To manage and build good relationship and network with vendors.
- To evaluate internal customer satisfaction.
- To liaise with storage regarding replenishment of stock items.
- To make arrangement regarding direct import items, e.g. government formalities, delivery arrangement with local forwarder, liaise with receiving department.
- To monitor receiving record pertaining to items purchased costs, delivery, product performance and inventory.
- To monitor petty cash float for small amount cash purchase.
- Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.

工作要求
- Degree holder in Purchasing and Supply or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Purchasing / Procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent sourcing skills and keep up-to-date about the market trend.
- Excellent coordination and organization skill.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
