Job Overview

Register guests, manage reservations, provide information about rooms, rates, amenities and respond to guests’ general enquiries in a courteous, efficient and professional manner at Front Desk.


  1. Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  2. Perform all check-in and check-out tasks in a professional manner
  3. Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for FITs, VIPs, event attendees, wedding guests, etc
  4. Upsell additional facilities and services as appropriate
  5. Register guests and collect necessary information such as contact details and exact dates of their stay
  6. Inform customers about payment methods, and verify their credit card data
  7. Provide currency exchange service
  8. Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  9. Liaise with Housekeeping to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
  10. Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
  11. Operate key card system in an efficient and professional manner
  12. Manage online and phone reservations
  13. Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  14. Be well-groomed up to the standard and requirement from the Management
  15. Take message for in-house guests
  16. Arrange wake up calls
  17. Prepare and generate Front Desk reports
  18. Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors and/or the Management

Responsibilities (Con't)


  1. F.5 certificate or above;
  2. Vocational Training Centre with Front Office operation studies or equivalent, preferably with work experience;
  3. Good communication skills;
  4. Common sense; smart and courteous;
  5. Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
  6. Knowledge in other Chinese dialects and foreign languages is welcomed;
  7. General personal computer knowledge and operation;
  8. Willing to work hard and learn;
  9. Positive and mature;
  10. Patient, honest and disciplined;
