Job Overview

Maintaining the accounts in a proper manner, prepare forecasts, financial analysis and reports. Conduct and supervise monthly closing of the books and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department on a daily basis.


  1. Matches invoice received with delivery notes and/or quotation for food & beverage items.
  2. Monitors daily purchase order of food & beverage items.
  3. Checks the detail on the invoice corresponds with that on the delivery notes and/or purchase orders.
  4. Releases batch which interface from inventory system and make sure all transactions are properly allocated according to the chart of accounts.
  5. Prepares food & beverage purchase report including forecast report, group purchasing report and duty meal & entertainment report, etc.
  6. Prepares Profit & Loss report for banquet function.
  7. Promptly resolves all disputes with Procurement and Vendors for food & beverage item.
  8. At month end, balances voucher register and disbursement journal and prepares corresponding journal vouchers for posting to the General Ledger.
  9. Balances inventory accounts with Stores Supervisor/Receiving Clerk.
  10. Physical counts of inventory item in various location of hotel monthly.
  11. Maintains files in good order so as to facilitate subsequent review.
  12. Assists the maintenance of a good record of operating equipment, etc.
  13. Attends physical count of operating equipment (including linen) and follow up with stock report with concerned department.
  14. Verifies disposal items of fixed assets.
  15. Oversees casual labor wages:
    • Prepares all casual labor wages & MPF Contribution
    • Follows all unclaimed wages
    • Performs necessary audit work for casual labor (including verify casual labor’s record in system and check-in & out record, etc)
    • Ascertains that all supporting documents are submitted and attached
  16. Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.

  1. Individual should have Secondary school graduate with LCCI Level III.
  2. Experience of bookkeeping & Hotel experience are preferable.
  3. Proficiency in MS office application.
