Senior Systems Analyst (Data Architect)

Job Overview

The job holder is responsible for maintaining the enterprise-level data platform and data analytics framework, ensuring alignment with Chinachem Group’s standards and governance practices. This role involves close collaboration with other ITS application teams and business units to implement data application projects and support decision-making through structured data insights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the enterprise-level data platform and analytics framework in line with group standards and governance policies.
• Collaborate with ITS application teams and business units to implement data application projects and ensure consistent data practices.
• Design and enforce data governance solutions, including metadata, data quality, and compliance protocols.
• Build and manage data integrations across platforms, supporting scalable and secure data operations.
• Prepare project documentation such as RFPs and business requirement specifications.
• Translate business needs into actionable data insights to support decision-making.
• Manage vendors to ensure project deliverables meet business and technical requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a IT related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data projects

Experience and skills:

• Proven experience in data integration and migration projects.
• Strong vendor management skills across projects of varying scale.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes by Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks, and data warehouse solutions such as Synapse.
• Proficient in Power BI.
• Familiar with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or AliCloud.
• Strong team player with adaptability to new technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; self-motivated and responsible.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Systems Analyst role.
