Senior Officer / Officer - Internal Control

Job Overview

• Support the development of Group policies and local procedures
• Support risk management activities
• Review and enhance business and operational processes

Responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding the design and implementation of the internal control environment, including development of Group policies and local procedures, documentation of processes, identification/ assessment of risk areas and control gaps.
• Develop and conduct regular trainings and prepare related materials on the internal control objectives, approach, and methodology to staff to build knowledge on risks and control
• Review the efficiency and effectiveness of business and operation processes to align with business objectives.
• Coordinate with various departments to identify weaknesses, control deficiency and potential risk of existing processes, develop new processes or recommendations to enhance operations.
• Drive and support change management initiatives from an internal control compliance and operation efficiency perspectives (including system implementations).

Requirements

• University Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related disciplines
• Completion of HKICPA, ACCA examinations or equivalent preferred
• Over 6 years of relevant experience in internal control/ internal & external audit, risk management, business re-engineering of sizeable/ multinational organization
• Knowledge of sound internal control principles and demonstrated ability to provide solutions to control issues
• In-depth understanding of business operations and experience in process improvement
• Excellent interpersonal and developed communication skills to negotiate at all levels
• Analytical and detailed-oriented
• Good problem-solving skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience might be considered as Officer role
