Job Overview

Project management in building services and project sustainability

Responsibilities

• Assist Building Services Managers / Building Services Team Head to supervise E&M and Sustainability consultants’ performance and review of consultants’ design deliverables and recommendations.
• Supervise BSE in project execution
• Coordinate with other project consultants and in-house project teams, and contractors to deliver the project
• Review and comment contractors’ submissions and installation
• Oversee and supervise the installation of building services including quality progress, testing and commissioning 
• Oversee the progress of document submissions for green building certificate(s)
• Coordinate closely with the Resident Building Services Engineer Building Services Inspector to ensure all E&M installations are inspected and recorded properly.
• Explore new property technologies and their implementation where applicable
• Carry out research in new property technologies
• To monitor and coordinate research projects with institution / university if required
• Report critical incident to GM-BS as soon as possible and RPM / RPD where appropriate
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or above in Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience including at least 5 years of project /construction management experience
• Professionally qualified is preferable
• Qualified BEAM Pro and experienced in MTRC property development projects will be an advantage
• Good initiative, leadership and communication skill
• Good command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese)
• Good team player
