Job Overview

  • This position will report directly to Deputy Director - Special Projects and work independently to ensure BIM projects adhere to company requirements, work processes and quality assurance
  • Manage and monitor Chinachem Group (CCG) and Nina Hospitality (NH) BIM projects
  • Company-wide set up of BIM standards

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with different sections within project team to develop and implement BIM standards, workflows and best practices for the company and its BIM-related projects
  • Provide guidance to team members and exterior consultants in producing high-quality BIM models / drawings for various projects
  • Lead BIM coordination meetings while working closely with project team and exterior parties on implementing architectural designs
  • Ensure the accuracy, compliance and completeness of BIM models and deliverables
  • Liaise with project team to establish BIM specifications for consultant, main contract and sub-contract tenders
  • Provide technical support and training to the BIM users and other project team members on BIM-related issues
  • Monitor and report on the progress and performance of each BIM project
  • Identify and resolve any BIM-related conflicts, risks or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
  • Keep the company informed and updated according to the latest developments and trends in BIM technology and industry

Requirements

  • Degree holder or above in architecture, engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of practical BIM project experience
  • CIC-certified BIM Manager or equivalent professional qualification
  • Strong knowledge of BIM standards, software and workflows
  • Familiar with Autodesk BIM Solutions (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.)
  • Familiar with common BIM applications such as documentation, scheduling, quantification, clash mitigation, etc.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and team management skills
  • Good command of English and/or Chinese
