Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Senior Manager – Insurance in the Group’s insurance renewals, the claims management functions and reports including claim data analysis, costs and risks trend, insurance portfolios analysis, etc., and the establishment of the In-house Insurance Automation System
  • Taking proactive approach in managing claims and related duties including but not limited to regularly review of claims development, attend on-site claim inspection and actively liaison with insurance brokers, insurers, solicitors and loss adjusters.
  • Preparing regular claim summary reports and analysis of claim data for loss mitigation purpose.
  • Attending enquiries and providing insurance advices to operational units of the Group.
  • Assisting in the daily operations and administrative supports including maintenance of the Document Management System, and any assigned ad-hoc projects and supporting duties.

Requirements

  • University graduate with degree ideally in Insurance, Management, or related disciplines
  • Associate membership in CII or ANZII will be an advantage
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the non-life insurance industry, preferably in an in-house insurance team of corporate or in an insurance broker firm
  • Familiar with insurance policy coverages, conditions, exclusions, and claim procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Active and responsible attitude, willing to learn, and self-motivated commit to assigned tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
