Legal Counsel

Job Overview

Serve as in-house legal counsel for the Group in providing comprehensive legal support and advisory services to business units, ensuring legal risks are effectively identified, managed, and mitigated. Act as a trusted legal partner by delivering practical and commercially focused guidance across a broad range of legal matters. Support business objectives through the provision of effective legal solutions and risk management strategies, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

Responsibilities

• Act as in-house counsel to provide general legal advice and support
• Providing legal support to business and functional units eg on leasing related matters in particular tenancy disputes, trademark, property management matters, cold cases which are real estate or joint venture related and work with senior legal counsels in sizeable tenders
• Assist in ad-hoc assignments and legal matters as required

Requirements

• A Hong Kong qualified solicitor with at least 8 years’ post qualification experience
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (with Mandarin as advantage
• Well-organized, self-motivated, able to work independently, good drafting skills and familiar with PC operation
