  • Assist the Responsible Project Manager (PM) in managing the design process, contract procurement, construction and handover of projects (in particular Alteration & Addition Works).
  • Monitor that projects are progressing according to the master programme; expenses are within budget; and works are completed to the quality as expected by the company.
  • Execute the procurement schedule prepared by the PM and ensure that all project team members and consultants work in accordance with the schedule.
  • Closely coordinate with project users (Leasing/Property Services/Sales Departments etc), contractors, consultants and project team members to ensure the project deliverables meet the requirements
  • Review design, drawings and specifications prepared by consultants in details and discuss possible improvements with the PM.
  • Assess and coordinate consultants to assess contract tenders. Prepare tender reports for the PM / RPM’s comment and endorsement. 
  • During the construction stage, regularly check the shop drawings, material submissions, mock-up samples before commencement of site work.
  • Prepare project progress reports.
  • Coordinate with the Construction Management Team and contractors to achieve the quality standard of workmanship before handing over to customers.
  • Follow up post-handover works such as design improvement works, customers’ feedback, defect rectification progress.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Architectural Studies or Surveying or related disciplines
  • HKIA / HKIS or equivalent
  • Registered Architect / Registered Surveyor
  • At least 4 years post-qualification experience in project management
  • Relevant experience in A&A and new build projects
  • Good interpersonal skill
  • Fit for team works
  • Self-motivated
