Job Overview
The Brand Management team at Chinachem Group shapes how we tell our story, creating meaningful brand expressions across property, hospitality, retail and community experiences, bringing consistency, imagination and cultural sensitivity to every visual and creative touchpoint.
As an Assistant Manager [Brand Design] reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Management, you'll play a hands-on role in developing and extending Chinachem Group's brand. You'll understand project requirements, develop design concepts, and create visual assets across campaigns, platforms and content formats through close cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and design brand campaigns, visuals and storytelling assets across digital, print and environmental channels
- Translate Chinachem’s brand vision into compelling creative concepts that resonate with diverse audiences
- Uphold and evolve the brand’s design language and visual identity guidelines
- Lead end-to-end creative processes - from ideation and briefing, through design development and production, to final rollout
- Collaborate closely with various business units to deliver unified brand experiences across property developments, retail and hospitality brands
- Partner with external agencies, photographers, illustrators, and production teams to ensure executional excellence
- Oversee creative quality, ensuring every deliverable strengthens the brand and meets the highest design standards
- Present creative concepts and storyboards to internal stakeholders with clarity and persuasion
- Mentor junior designer and contribute to an inspiring, collaborative team culture
- Organise and maintain a comprehensive database of photographic images and videos
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in brand, design or creative teams, ideally within property, lifestyle, hospitality, or creative agency sectors
- Strong portfolio demonstrating multidisciplinary design - brand identity, campaigns, digital, and environmental
- Experience managing creative projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Familiarity with motion, digital, and emerging AI tools
- Confident communicator with the ability to articulate design rationale and strategy
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Passionate about using design to tell stories that matter - about place, purpose, and people
