Job Overview

The incumbent drives creative visual design to achieve business objectives in line with the group's creative strategies. This role supports daily graphic and multimedia design activities, including video editing and motion graphics, contributing to an engaging and cohesive brand presence. The designer's work embodies our people-centric brand DNA, known as 'Places with Heart.'

Responsibilities

  • Formulate creative strategies, concepts and contents that meet our business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team, where applicable, to develop design concepts, creative graphic, infographics, multimedia solutions and marketing materials for various projects, supporting other business units and corporate functions
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of our visual brand language, including creating brand standards for design, photography, typography, and ensuring their implementation on across appropriate channels
  • Maintain consistent branding and deliver high-quality marketing materials to target audience
  • Manage end-to-end production lifecycle of creative content and assets from concept to execution
  • Apply design concepts across various channels, including printed materials, digital displays, advertisements, website, social media.
  • Support daily operations in graphic and multimedia design activities, including video editing and motion graphics
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Design, or other related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in multimedia design, including animation, online digital marketing and communications
  • Ability to articulate design concepts to support corporate branding needs
  • Experience in leading a team is a plus
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop 
  • Skilled and experienced in storyboard production, video production, motion graphic and photography
  • Creative, proactive, responsible, well-organised, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently
  • A portfolio showcasing video works, photography, and design layouts is a must
  • Less experienced candidates will be considered for the role of Senior Multimedia Designer
