Assistant Manager - Finance

Job Overview

This role serves as a team player in mobilizing Finance Operations (Accounts Payable & Leasing Receivable). 

• Mobilize Finance Operations including Accounts Payable & Leasing Receivable, in alignment with the FPC departmental objectives
• Ensure compliance to group policies and procedures and internal control frameworks
• Adopt best practices and operational guidelines to strengthen internal controls and risk awareness across finance operations
• Foster a culture of continuous improvements and data integrity across financial processes
• Engage with stakeholders in delivering actionable financial insights that support business decision-making
• Stay abreast of business developments and updates to accounting standards

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Finance Operations (Accounts Payable & Leasing Receivable) and ensure timely and accurate payment and billing cycles
• Monitor financial closing cycles to uplift reporting accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting standards 
• Analyze Accounts Payable & Leasing Receivable metrics and present insights to senior management
• Ensure adherence to group policies and procedures and internal control frameworks
• Advise process improvements and system enhancements to optimize operating efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  Candidates with a CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification are preferred

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years accounting experience with financial operations, accounting, and reporting
• Exposure gained from sizable finance operations team
• Strong capability in fostering internal control and risk awareness culture
• Proficiency in end-to-end process standardization and finance transformation initiatives
• Proficiency in using Yardi, SAP (S/4 HANA) and Advanced MS Excel, and PowerPoint
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
