Accountant (AR)

Job Overview

• The incumbent for this role will assist the Senior Accountant in managing the leasing receivables function within the Finance Operations team.  This role will be responsible for handling all aspects of daily lease creation, deal activation, lease amendments, and lease terminations.

  • Reviewing lease agreement terms for compliance
  • Corresponding with tenants and other stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and workflows in Yardi and SAP S/4 HANA systems

Responsibilities

• Manage the full leasing cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Handle new lettings, process lease renewals, manage schedule modifications, oversee amendments, and coordinate lease terminations
  • Maintain tenant master data 
  • Oversee the daily leasing receivables operations and reconciliations
• Contribute to the month-end accounting and reporting
• Drive operational excellence in the leasing receivables function
  • Strengthen relationships with tenants and business partners
  • Seek feedback and ensure follow-up timely on any issues
• Immediate availability is highly preferred

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Candidates with a CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification are preferred

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting and commercial experience
• Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in using SAP S/4 HANA, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in using the Yardi system is preferred
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
